What if the Road to Spiritual Enlightenment was Navigated by a Good Sense of Humor and a Yoga Practice?
First, we’ll chat about how laughter and humor are not frivolous. Conversely, they can be sharp, useful tools to use to cut through all the bullsh*t. Have you noticed it’s the comedians that are the ones telling the “truth” as they expose the ridiculousness of current events. Humor is extremely healing. They (whoever “they” are) say it is, in fact, the greatest medicine. It eases the stresses and tensions of everyday life, and those are the things that are doing us the most damage.
The Dalai Lama said it himself, “People suffer only because they take seriously what the gods made for fun.” If you don’t have a sense of humor about many of the situations you are going to encounter on this journey, it is going to be an unnecessarily difficult road ahead.
Then, time to practice. If humor can heal, relax, entertain and unite people all at the same time…there will be no better time or place to practice yoga.
Can’t wait to see you!
