“Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall down.” In this workshop you will wiggle, you will wobble, you will find your edge and confidently fall…all to find your poised inner balance on and off your mat! Through a playful asana practice you will:
- Learn the foundational skeleton of alignment that aligns your body with integrity for maximum support and stability.
- Explore how your centerline, core foundation (feet, hands, bandhas (“body locks”)), contraction/expansion, and drishti (“focused gaze”) are intricately woven into balance poses.
- Uncover new ways to position and move your body to optimize both effort and ease in a pose.
- Discover for yourself how all these parts contribute to the whole to open access to understanding balance newly and step to your edge to experience possibility beyond the basic pose.
