Courtney Tyler, a professional contemporary dancer/choreographer/starving artist fell in love with acroyoga because it allowed her to fuse her passions of dance, yoga, and circus arts into one beautiful art form. Studio manager of Bodyheat Summerlin, Courtney’s classes are known to inspire yogis to not take life too seriously, to laugh until you fall and fall until you laugh, and to find confidence in living your true self loud and proud. Courtney has been teaching dance, barre, fitness, and yoga for over 10 years all across the country.
Dylan Barnes considers the most important part of any yoga practice to be how APPLICABLE it is to life off the mat. He began practicing yoga in order to remove the chlorine smell from his skin after swim practice and over a decade later, he has found love in teaching. In Dylan’s classes, he hopes to give all of his students the tools they need in order to apply how to cope, manage, and breathe throughout life’s sticky moments.
Courtney and Dylan began collaborating while pursuing their 200 hour teacher training together at Bodyheat and immediately began co-teaching upon completion. The dynamic duo thrives due to their mutual passion for learning, growth, and out of comfort zone experiences which is what eventually led them to fall in love with Acroyoga. Together they strive to provide a space where yogis can let go of expectations, learn to trust and connect, and find the joy in being a forever student.
