Sasha Larkin has studied and taught yoga in Las Vegas for over fifteen years. A ParaYoga certified yoga teacher with over 850 RYT hours, Sasha trains in-depth with Yogarupa Rod Stryker, founder of ParaYoga. This style incorporates Hatha Yoga, Tantra Yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, breathing techniques and other practices to empower and inspire. Sasha’s background in dance and martial arts enables her to bring creativity, precision and fluidity to her yoga. Her empathy, compassion and devotion to her students soften the heart and bring out the greatness in everyone who studies with her.
A highly skilled, certified yoga teacher, Sasha beautifully integrates all the spiritual and physical sides of yoga and distills it in a form everyone can relate to. Sasha has also studied in depth with and received 200 hour certifications from Shiva Rae, Dharma Mittra and Richard Freeman. This gives her a strong Ashtanga background, laced with fluidity, grace and strength. Sasha believes that proper breath work to still the body from the inside out, will prepare a student for time in meditation, to taste the sweetness of Samadhi (spiritual enlightenment, a glimpse of the Divine).
Sasha teaches yoga, while holding a full-time position with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as a Lieutenant in the Gangs/Narcotics Bureau, giving her insight on the true importance of balance in life. She is also a mother of three amazing little children, a little boy and twin girls, and happily married to her best friend Tim Larkin.
