Mathew, teacher trainer on the Trufusion travel team, discovered yoga through his love for psychology and philosophy. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Mathew went on to study naturopathic medicine and mind-body healing which eventually led to an insatiable desire for immersion in spiritual study. Through meditation and devoted spiritual study, Mathew sought answers to life’s most existential questions which inevitably merged with realizations found through yoga philosophy. Mathew is a published author and lecturer on yoga philosophy and transpersonal psychology as well as a teacher of group yoga and fitness classes. Mathew received his yoga training directly under Alexandria Crow and John Gaydos from Yoga Works and received his fitness training directly under Martin Hinton, the founder of Trufusion, and Liz Steers, creator of TruPilates.
